Saw Nothing

a handsome autumn brownie strutted confidently out of the oaks. We human begins stopped talking, ceased all stories and jokes. a dwarf like faerie gave him a wink, and an all-knowing eye. I swear I also heard a teensy “ahhhh” faerie sigh. In a few seconds they had both disappeared in a bit of smoke. Did you see that? I asked my friends My, Tiny and Loke. “Saw nothing” they said, faster than I could make up this lie. They would not admit to seeing the fey, especially My.
