Saving Me
From what it is worth
I am saving my soul
I have extended extraordinary goals
no setbacks no holdbacks
I am content
I will survive
I am a survival
A lifetime worthwhile plans
doing what I can
some might not understand
saving me from this terrible toxic environment
as one manages to make it through
as life goes forward, I am brand new
looking forward at an earlier or later age of retirement
from midlife to the stage of later years
enjoying my life as another saved one appears
saving myself from a lot of headaches, heartaches
My trust is in Jesus
as the path seemingly is long
I am a person of Faith
with God, I am never alone.
