Save Your Sorries
At seven AM
The door knocks
A neighbour you say
Did you look at her
You ask
At eleven PM
The door knocks
A neighbour you say
Did you see her
You ask
At twelve midnight
Your door is knocking
Two neighbours you say
Did you hear them
You ask
At one in the afternoon
You take a call
A good friend you say
I hear your words
You tell
At the time
We were together
Soul connected you say
Words only spoken
You lie
At two before dawn
You call from your cab
Telling me you've seen her
Be quiet now
You yell
At this time
I open my eyes and see
There'll always be another her
You're not only for me
You lose
