I am laughing my guts out here. I am surrounded by people who would have a difficult time balancing a bicycle. I could never get on one again after my bike wreck on Feb 5, 1984.

Bicycling - much better for our health, but it many countries, seen as regression - haven't got onto one for years - sounds like great fun though Gershon! Well penned. Hugs, Jennifer.

Hey, give bicycle riding a whirl. You won't regret it. I didn't even own a car between ages 39 - 45, and I rode a bike happily til 63, which brought the onset of physical...And you're right: Folks often think of bike riding as 'regression.' (Ridiculous, isn't it?) Thanks for the observation, Jennifer! :) gw

I remember riding my bike everywhere when I was a kid - don't think I could pull that off today, though!

I was riding my bike until age 63, when I began to completely fall apart physically...(Now I can barely walk a block or two---although I'm still a dynamo from the waist up. LOL. :) gw

Fat chance indeed, great message though GW. I do try and walk rather than drive ... especially at this time of year with the TT races and all those leather clad bikers around ... gives me better chance to ogle lol:-) hugs jan xx
