Save the Day

Daylight Savings Time?
Are you out of your mind?
For centuries past Mother Nature's been right
So why do you think we can improve on her light
All winter long 7am dark and cold
For those of us out and about it really gets old
Till March breaths her light into my path... Oh Wait...
That damn time thing just knocked us back!
How can you gain what you never lost
So why make dear morning pay the cost
For those who want it lighter later
That's right dear folks...
I'm a Daylight Savings Time Hater!
So if your a morning person like me
And with all of my rantings you do agree
Go to End Daylight Savings Time.com on the web
And join the petition to kill this thing dead

- This is a little out of my normal range, so thanks all
you witty poets out there for inspiring me to write this
Hope you enjoy it...even if you are on the other side of the fence!

This is delightful and fun to read...made me smile! Very clever writing, and true..lol .. I don't like it when it gets dark at 4pm in fall and winter when it is already so dark, soggy and raining..sigh I so agree with your sentiments of being one with "Mother Nature":-) Great write, like your "notes", thank you for the smiles! blessings, lynn
