Save Me

In the light of day That's when you think everything is okay I'll tell you I'm fine And you won't cross that line Believing this overused lie Not daring to speak of how much I cry I'm tired of people telling me to be strong What a sick broken record of a song Be strong, be strong, be strong Save me from this suffocating silence Take away the pain of choking on my own words Show me the love we all so desperately seek Tell me it's okay to have feelings Break this statue you molded me into In the dark of the night That's when you find nothing is right That silent tear falls upon her face Her hollow breath quickening in pace She pulls at her hair and claws at her sheets Screaming and writhing, faster her heart beats I'm tired of people telling me to be strong What a sick broken record of a song Be strong, be strong, be strong Save me from this suffocating silence Take away the pain of choking on my own words Show me the love we all so desperately seek Tell me it's okay to have feelings Break this statue you molded me into Back to light You think its been alright Rosy cheeks are actually raw Wiping tears that no one else saw Shining eyes are the glistening tears A hopeless pain that only she bears I'm tired of people telling me to be strong What a sick broken record of a song Be strong, be strong, be strong Save me from this suffocating silence Take away the pain of choking on my own words Show me the love we all so desperately seek Tell me it's okay to have feelings Break this statue you molded me into
