Saturn's Starry Night
Saturn and Jupiter a line on these holy nights
The sky is sapphire, the moon smiles bright white
There amidst so much sorrow now there are lights
Though you may not be religious this I understand
During these dark days connecting with something
Is essential be it the Force, God, the Great Spirit or Pan
My squirrel friend just came in the cold looking for me
While I threw out her treats on this we always agree
She grabbed two and the crows came so she ran up the tree, ah!
This harsh year amidst so many liars and such death
The Universe sends us an event sublime to give us some rest
Thus in the cessation of life, all creatures come in living breaths
Perhaps the Universe sends us again in this starry night
A vision of hope a star of wonder a star of holy light
