A song I don't remember, unfortunately. I was too busy trying to get a better job. Still I loved your song. However I managed to get the song from the internet. Beautiful.

hi Victor. Justin wrote it after his girlfriend had dumped him. She had given him a set of satin sheets as a gift earlier and he wrote a few lines one morning before he went to rehearsals. His band and crew wasn't at first impressed but they played a few more bars and could see there was potential for a hit song. But for Justin it was a emotional song and l think it comes out when he sings it.

It is a classic song, to be sure. And Justin Hayward's singing on it is sublime

l read that the band were told it wouldn't get anywhere in the charts, but it became a top hit in France first. then Uk and the rest as you know is history on it's success. And l believe Justin didnt get any royalties from it. He said the lyrics were very emotional to write and to sing.
