Satan Is a Liar

Satan is a liar
He is the king of thieves
Stealing from us blindly
As he puts our minds at ease

We enjoy it so much
We keep coming back for more
We place the noose around our own necks
As he tightens up the cord

It's said that in the end times
What's right will look all wrong
I believe in our haste
That's what we have chanced upon

So as we're happily splashing in the cesspool
Of mans sinful disease
Do we expect that if we hold our breath
When we've had enough we'll gladly leave

Satan pours the lies on thickly
As we tread gasping for air
Holding his hand out in the gesture
Of a friend who really cares

With the other hand held behind his back
To hide his wicked deeds
Because Satan is a liar
And he is the king of thieves

John Hamilton July 3, 2017 at 11:43 AM Great writing of truth Mike, Corinthians does say he is the ruler of the world who blinds the minds of unbelievers, but as Revelation states his days are numbered, we just have to be patient.
