Santa Claus has travel worries at the North Pole, With terrible winter storms brewing there afoot, He knows Christmas is so close and so he must put His children first now whom he loves deeply and whole! And so he must find red-nosed Rudolph to cajole Him into guid’n his sleigh on Christmas Eve to boot, For this would bring his kids so much joy—what a hoot! Rudolph’s red nose bright guiding them from the North Pole! Rudolph leads Santa’s reindeer on Christmas Eve Night, While all shout out with joy on this blessed holy night! Santa’s reindeer love Rudolph in equal measure, For with him they won’t be lost—oh what a pleasure! Rudolph’s glowing red nose shines now ever so bright, As we all with Santa celebrate the Lord’s night! Thanks KAYOD5 -- I see you fully understand the tension involved between the rhyme and meter application as one builds out the words and the verses. This is why some people shy away from writes like these. But we all get better each time we do them!! Be that as it may . . . Best Wishes and Merry Christmas to you!! Always, Gary

Anne-Lise My Dear Friend . . . I always enjoy your visits and look forward to your most gracious words and comments. I would say under the circumstances that Santa Claus definitely needs Rudolph in order to deliver his presents!!! (This sonnet was somewhat of challenge to put together because of the nature of the words and meter -- but I got it done!!) Best Always, Gary

Demetrios My Dear Friend . . . as with Anne-Lise above, it is always great hearing from you and I do always look forward to what you have to say. Yes -- Santa's love for children and his ability to convey it has no limits. He represents all that is great and good with the children on our Earth as we prepare to celebrate the love and life of our Lord Jesus Christ!! Best Always, Gary
