At Santa Claus’ pause
Rudolph dims his nose
All the elves find cause
To take time to applause
That Mrs. Claus’ menopause
Isn’t really the first cause
As Santa Claus withdraws
From Christmas at grandmas
Where everyone keeps laws
For living by rules that was
Santa Claus’ gift of gauze
To wrap without any flaws
In the gift giving bylaws
At Santa Claus’ pause
