Sandbox
As soon as the children,
Opened the sandbox,
They became amazingly small,
They were little people inside a huge box
It was like been in the Sahara Desert,
They saw a castle in the distance,
And investigated,
Scorching sun beating down,
On dry yellow sand,
They crossed over the moat,
Entering inside,
It was a beautiful palace,
Princes must live there,
They ran to the top tower,
What could they see,
Excitement!
As they played their games of war,
Defended their king and queen,
Trapped forever!
Inside this strange sand,
They started to get hungry,
It was late,
Then like magic,
A plate of sandwiches appeared,
They ate and were happy again,
Quenched their thirst,
The lid suddenly came down,
They were big once again.
What a great adventure,
The sandbox was truly magical.
