Sally snake seethed silently
She’d bitten her tongue and it hurt
Sally slowly sidled in the sand dunes -
Unable to speak but alert
The venom it spread through her body
She hissed and cursed in her head
No antidote for the poison within her
Now alas poor Sally snake lies dead
