Sailing In Fortitude

Will storms abate not 
And tides in my favour turn 
Won't the darkest days 
Serenade nights where 
A starlit symphony sings 
Would a new day dawn 
Shrouding past regrets 
Giving rise to hope and joy 
For this jaded one 
Too weary to croon 
Won't the dove so sweetly coo 
Chasing gloom away 
In rays of citrine 
Making mornings more serene 
Peaceful tidings greet 
Gratefully I sail along
