Safe In the Glow

~

Bright as the midwinter stars in the sky,
your love illumines my way
Soft as a candle flame flickers the eye,
enchantment so warm on display

Moonbeams a’ glisten the path to your heart,
shimmering sweet on the air
Even these moments which find us apart,
sparkling gleams we will share

When in the darkness I find I’m alone,
searching for merely a trace
I see a beacon to come bring me home,
lit by the smile on your face

Take me and lead me, I walk in your light,
sent down to me from above
Held in your arms where I know all is right,
safe in the glow of your love
