Timmy Tombstone died today. Gone with nothing left to say. Some say it's best. Now he can rest. Some limericks are just grey. :)

Your lines sure made me smile band I've got to agree with you about some limericks being grey - I see so many that are churned out day in day out that really aren't funny. I write many of the form I hope mine are half decent!:-) hugs jan xx

Hi Robert, I enjoyed reading your limerick. I thought I would share my general philosophy about limericks with you. They are SO difficult... I have found that many start off great then, LIKE THE FEW I TRIED, they flop like a lead balloon at the last line. I think readers feel disappointed because of the buildup. Limericks are a very tricky form !! That punch line always makes it or breaks it. It's the difference between an OK poem and a fabulous one. just an observation. Thanks my friend.
