Sad Today

I'm sad today I cannot see
The good in things they fail me.

I want to laugh and feel free
To be the best that I can be.

The Sun came up
and then went down and
on its way it left a frown.

It took my smile and left me tears
It left me here with all my fears.

I want to sleep and dream of things
Much nicer than today has been.

Tomorrow when I wake in bed
Perhaps good things will fill my head.

The laughter may return once more
And find the place it was before.

Close your eyes and drift away, to beautiful places you've heard people say. Open you eyes and absorb the view, you'll feel the smile that's inside of you >> James
