Ruth, Daughter of Svenks
She was Ruth, their only daughter
Set out one day to roam the globe
Instructed to the nth degree
Dressed with a flare of exotic
She was cultured, had travelled far
A lady of society
Affectionately loved her folks
Though their advanced age sadly showed
Unable to maintain upkeep
Of home and grounds, just way too much
Modest and proud of their hard years
I wonder what became of them
Beyond doubt their days were numbered
All answered the cycle of life
She set out to conquer the world
Ruth she was, daughter of the Svenks
