Running Toward Christmas
Lee was running toward Christmas with her lights flowing.
Some were twinkling on and off, and her hat was glowing.
She is always dressed in fluorescents, a neighbor observed.
Always ready to help a neighbor too, said wife, undisturbed.
The neighborhood watched her decorate her outside tree.
It was pretty before, now it was superb, decorated by Lee.
She did it for the neighbors, so they could enjoy the lights too.
Especially for her best friend neighbor, Mrs. Mary Lou Boo.
