Running To My Light
Running to my light
I hide on to God
cos who else will
guide my back
when I fall to nothing
who will be my push
back to life if not God
so let me be
you who blasphemy me
let me run my race when am
running to my light
Running to my light
I look up to God
cos who else is to be trusted
in this era of bitterness
in this hard times
where men are only
thinkers of themselves
selfishness now so normal
like we got no other opinion
nor choice
people after there own
no one care a lot this days
so I don't want to dwell in this
atmosphere there must be
a better place
so now I keep running
running to my light
Running to my light
I hear the voice of God
it speaks on the lips
of the poor
it speaks on an upright soul
it speaks a lot in the street
of the commoners
oh it speaks in the midst
of the needy
it speaks not in churches
any more cos money run their
God nowadays
it speaks no more in temples
and chapels
it speaks in you it speaks
in me it speaks in us
and with this voice
I always keep
running to my light
running to my light
God bless my destiny
God guide this road I run
cos along the way
this road is cracky
this road is dark
this road is not easy
so when am running
I can't trust every step
I take if it doesn't push
me ahead of time
so support me when
you see me on my ways
running to my light
