Running off with my heart

There you go again,
Running off with 
My heart;
I wish you'd
Just give us
A real chance
To make a
New start...

But if you
Keep on moving
How will you
Ever slow down -
Take the time
To know your own
Mind...?

Your heart? 
Your soul? 
What truly 
Moves you - 
Makes you feel 
Whole? 

Why don't you 
Stop for a while? 
Put down my 
Heart... 
Let's breathe in 
Deep for a mile...

Why can't 
You just look 
Into my eyes? 
Feel this 
Moment? 
Be truly 
Alive? 

I'm always 
Going to be 
Here for you, 
No matter the
Situation;
Whatever the
Rules...

So no need to go 
Running off 
With my
Heart... 
Let's stay 
Together - 
No need for our 
Hearts to be 
Beating 
Apart.
