Rundown

“In a rundown, the runner is in a pickle that could become a rhubarb.” ~ by poet Rundown. He's trapped between bases being pursued by the fielders who glibly smile because they know they have the advantage, to perhaps overtake and tag the beleaguered runner, to foil the run. Rundown.

Well written to form, Linda, and an interesting subject to us baseball fans. I like your personal quote also. WTG. Have a great week, neighbor! Bill

well done, Linda. Wasn't familiar with this form of poetry; after having read about it, you've done a marvelous job. The rundown happens when running competitively. I can't tell you how many times a runner behind me in the final stretch would get right behind me...to frustrate me and take away my focus. Only took once for me to be 'rundown' to understand why the practice happened. Rambling. sigh. Have a lovely evening, Sara

Hi Sara. It's all competitive and a brilliant strategy. Ramble on dear friend. Have a great Tuesday! :)
