April 22nd 1978 we both said I do.

Ruby Wedding Anniversary

a ruby gemstone  ~
forty years of love and trust
unbreakable bond    ~

40 years of conjugal bliss is no small thing. It needs understanding and adjustment. We have completed 44 years in February. Wish you dear Tom and your sweetheart long years of togetherness.

ahhh, I found one I missed!! Congrats on your anniversary. we got married three years before you. We had no song. My husband does not pay attention to lyrics! He can't even remember the 70's songs we both grew up hearing in high school!!

"Bohemian Rhapsody" brought classical-style music back into the pop culture. Congratulations on having a bond of 40 years, Tom! Enjoyed this senryu very much. Been thinking a lot about the 72-year marriage of the Bushes, and how Barbara's death may be contributing to George's illness. It's in God's hands...
