Ruby

I am at a loss For the sake of my words For the sake of my disguise You tend to me with an imploring stare I’ve searched for you yet you were always there Perpetually unaware of my own solitude, I cry with champagne Or anything withering Or anything meaningful for the time being I lost count of all your shades The Sun rises and sets with you I’ve wallowed till my despair created you I am here, because you are here I am at a loss For the sake of my impeding freedom For the sake of my dancing lies You have me bestowed on a silver platter Waiting for you to dig in And as you get deeper you will continue to find me Perpetually unaware of my own solitude Are you the one who will find me? You must be the one to find me Be the one who will find me Why must you be the one to find me?
