Round The Bush, In The Cycle

Sir Donkey performs on stage,
His perfect smile leaves the audience in a daze,
But why does Sir Donkey have tears running down his perfect face!

“I want to play, I want to play,” the donkey says,
“Donkeys aren't allowed to play!” shouts the walrus.

The mighty walrus in shining armour!
Quick in reaction, clever in interaction.
But sometimes the Walrus wants to do and say,
What's on his mind, not what's prepared for him that day!

“I don't want to serve you anymore!” the Walrus says.
Mr Giraffe frowns,
“A walrus does not get to have a say!”

Here comes Mr Giraffe!
He can reach the stars with his long neck,
Strong, muscular, a dear to the ladies.
But why do they climb his back,
And gradually pull Mr back!

They suddenly twist and tie his neck.
“Let go, let go! I want to reach the stars!” Mr cries,
But sadly, it's too late ...
Mr is endlessly floating in space.

Now tell me why the Donkey cried and yelped,
Venting out loud, thinking he would be helped!

But Sir Donkey still doesn't understand the difference.
The difference between sugar coated flies,
And sweet little honey fries.

So once again,
Let's beat around the bush.
Now Sir Donkey continues the cycle...

The cycle outlives this poem.
The cycle outlives the animals.
