Rose Meadow

Rose Meadow Into a lovely enchantment I wander Soft stardust sprinkles a meadow of night blooming roses In perfumed hues of scarlet-rose and lavender-gold Stretching out my cramped and cockled legs Into thornless rhapsodies of drowsiness In floral fields I embrace intoxicated reveries Returning me to the fragile rose meadows Of lyric verses that fall like velvet tresses A dulcet supplication delicate as petals of a dreaming rose When moonlight nectars drip with midnight’s invitation Float into the lacy blush of dainty filigree shadows Twine my sinuous spirit and chorded heart in dreams unity. 4/26/23 Cockled means crumpled, creased

"Returning me to the fragile rose meadows Of lyric verses that fall like velvet tresses" What delight this walk into the Rose Meadows impart. Indeed a heavenly experience. I have nothing more to comment, but to enlist this in my FAVE poems to read it over and again at will. All the Best dear gifted poet.

My Dearest Rhyme Time Friend, I am as enchanted as I am intoxicated by the ravishing imagery of "soft stardust" sprinkling "a meadow of night blooming roses" and "lyric verses that fall like velvet tresses" and "moonlight nectars" dripping "with midnight’s invitation"! Oh such dreamy beauty bestowed within every verse.. oh to be a "dreaming rose"! The magic of your poetic pen knows no bounds, my inspiring sis! Such an exquisite gem to add to your shining crown. Best wishes for a win! Warmest wishes, love and hugs sent on the wispy scents of "floral fields".. ~Susan

In 'floral fields' and 'filagree shadows...' That's about all I'd need for my heart to beat in unity with a dream. We're trading kudos on imagery today, Sam.
