Roots of Resilience

The mighty tree has fallen down, Whose roots embraced us, strong and sound. Its fruits bestowed wisdom, profound and true, And its branches lifted us, helping us grew. Under its shelter, we found solace and peace, Shielded from the scorching sun's relentless heat. It guarded us against foes, both near and far, But now we're left wondering, where shall we spar? The bridge we relied upon, it's washed away, We traversed it daily, from village to bay. It carried us through turbulent waters, high and wide, But now its absence leaves us stranded, untied. In this time of loss, we search for new ground, A place to seek refuge, where hope can be found. Let's gather our strength, for together we stand, Building a future with resilience, hand in hand.
