Notes About The Poem
For Nette Onclaud's Rolling with the R's contest/ Aug 5, 2025

Room For Rent

For rent: a room with three rowdy, reckless roommates who revel in raving it up. Curtains they've ripped and carpets they've ruined Worn sofa and rancid kitchen all greatly reduced with a garage too for rent.

Sweetie: Best title it 'Room For Rent', I'm thinking so, "chosen theme is your poems title." I wrote mine when 34 were already submitted and by the time I finished someone had beat me to it. Love how you not only let R inspire you but used alliteration. A landlord who has given up! She also directs poets to center the poem. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

It is very weird but I am not allowed to open your poetry pages and comment to you. If I am not accidentally blocked by you, it must be a glitch. Can't open mail from you either. Hope you see this at least. Sorry

Reminds me of rental places earlier in my college life. I would rather stay in a studio by myself. Nice entry.
