ROOM FOR RENT

Too small,
for two of us.
Wanting to run away,
I was reluctant to stay here.
Our pay checks did not reach far in those days,
I had a place to rest my head.
Needed more rent money,
please rain dollars.
Too small.

Hi Paula, I as raised ia 14 room house ! After I was married we livedv in a studo apartment! Finally, I an in my own home, the past 20 years But we struggled for not only rent but food! Money was short for years, and this poem is great and higly relatable. FAV,l Pangie
