Losing myself Falling into Eyes locked Hands cupped Limbs opened Gaining myself Returning gifts Feelings exaggerated Senses heightened Connections deepened Acknowledging myself Knowing yourself Mutual worlds Quaking As the earth’s plates Shudder, tremble and shake Settling into new positions Interlocked now Our perspectives changed Same but different
