From hospital bed
To dinner date and a rose
Your eyes held my heart 

On valentine day
Our rose bush blooms crimson buds 
Blushing memory

The stars shine tonight
I look up and you wink back
Your bright eyes hold me

Very passionate indeed..I am reading between the lines in asking is this valentine in his heavenly home now?...Good luck in the contest ...Reads like a winner to me..Thanks for the show of concern but we don't live in tornado alley but we do live where tornados come quite frequently.There has been several on the ground very close to my home since I have lived here.We have only had destruction of trees and no property damage.God has looked after us in that we have been safe during the storms.Sara

Yes Sara- He passed away 21 days later we had our last Valentine dinner together. It brought tears to my eyes and heart to write it : )
