Robbed

We've lost many people already
To the undying thirst of drugs
That seems to extinguish,
everyone who cares enough to partake

It's like a fire that continues to spread
With people falling for its allure
Only to sink deep like quicksand,
And it's hard to get yourself off it

Many families crying foul
Others are in the darkness
Cause they think its a distant thing
But it's just that they don't know their kids well

It's taken many good people already
And more are lining up
It's sad that even when we speak
It's just noise cause they'll keep on dealing

It's become a business, that's why no one cares
They're after the rewards of others pain
And because we all hope to die someday
The end is certain that's why we don't care how we get there

Some countries run on oil. Some countries run on drugs. Will it ever change, probably not.
