Rite De Passage Written: by Tom Wright Found this in an unfinished file from 2008 In each life come significant transitional events That shape or alter our lives forever. At times when we least expect it We come face up with those Destined to share our path; At first we may think little of it, But quickly we realize that their presence Is no accident, but by Divine appointment. I came near to rejecting this young lady God had sent to me because of an Unchristian like attitude I had at the moment; But God, being all knowing, Knew that I wouldn’t refuse her, Lest He wouldn’t have brought her there; Immediately, she became to me, my burden, And often a disappointment, For, to me, she was worthy of far more, Than I thought life was giving her. She now is such a joy and great friend Who without knowing it has reached out And touched our hearts;
