Rise Up From The Dust
I know which way I want to go
to start a brand-new show
I know which way I want to go
So, lead the multitude to the square
and I will meet with you there
I will break away from the lot
and build the party movement from scratch
So, gather all the building blocks
and make me a new frock
I am going to build a grass root army
in rural, suburban and urban community
So, gather all the building blocks
and join the eighty million
and march through all the parking lots
The old democratic crew will find their own shoes
to make their political dream come true
This is not a party for the left or the right
It is a party movement that will make the sacrifice
Our focus is not on winning alone
our direction is on building
If you are from another group
get a brand-new pair of shoes
we are going to do this thing together
And build a party movement for a better tomorrow
So, rise up from the dust
and get on the bus
We are going to Sate, city, county and rural town
To build a strong foundation from the ground.
Let's build this party movement together
and compose a brand-new song for the future.
