Ripe For Revolution

The average price of a new car's up to $37, 185**
Only a fool would expect it to take a nosedive
The Auto Industry's defense, more circumlocution
Consumers' pockets picked; the time's ripe for revolution

I like that phrase, 'greed empire.' That's largely what it is, esp. at the 'executive level.' Thanks for the comment. :) gw

If not now, when?! LOL. … We are as sheep led to the slaughter, whether by big business or big government, what's the difference?!

It is crazy but my sister bought her house for $5,000 in 1971. And yes it did have running water and electricity. Wow! This is crazy! No wonder grown up children live with their parents.

They were selling three bedroom townhouses with attached garages for $18k in Villa Park, IL (just east of Lombard, IL) in 1975. Acquaintance of mine bought one. You could still buy a 3 BR house in Joliet for $20k in in 1980. Something's got to give sooner or later... :) gw
