I ride with dolphins on their back Away from land into the blue We’re free to roam, no beaten track I ride with dolphins on their back Sense of adventure I don’t lack Where this will lead I have no clue I ride with dolphins on their back Away from land into the blue With leaping dolphins I ride far Away from land into the blue Our guides the sun and evening star With leaping dolphins I ride far Where mermaids sing and eat caviar In awe I watch the ocean view With leaping dolphins I ride far Away from land into the blue I ride with dolphins far and wide Away from land into the blue The water frolics by my side I ride with dolphins far and wide And watch the seagulls as they glide To worldly ties I bid adieu I ride with dolphins far and wide Away from land into the blue ---------------------------------------- Contest: New or Old 2 Sponsor: Eve Roper 9th January, 2016

Thank you for liking, Chris. The Triolet form can be a useful tool in some special cases, such as this one, where repetition is meant to enhance the poem's flow. Best regards // paul

Your comments are exactly what I intended to convey, Sandra! It was with that aim in mind that I also omitted punctuation, so as not to hinder the flow. Thank you for the positive feedback:) Hugs // paul

A delightful way to do triolets (ironically in three's!) ... you take me to the land of whimsy of fantasy. "where this will lead I have no clue" ... well that's what it make an adventure, no? Best of luck!

Dear Paul I'm going to read this one to my Granddaughters, who love mermaids very much, they'll love it Paul, you'll make their day, this poem flows so smoothly like a wave at high tide, what a cool work, simply amazing job my friend, and thanks for the chocolate dreams, review I'm eating a brownie right now, with of course chocolate frosting on top, simply yummy anyway, take care and have a great nite my friend, cheri

Thank you Cherl...I hope they will enjoy it, too. I left these triolets unpunctuated on purpose so as to obtain one long flowing undulating feeling, something which gladely you remarked about. Would have stopped by for a brownie last night, but it was past my bedtime:) ** Regards....paul
