Riding the Shiloh Range Again
That sandy blond hair, those sky blue eyes.
That smile that made everyone woman sigh.
You captured the essence of that era with such style and grace,
So perfect in that role no one will ever be able to take your place.
All those years every week you came into our homes,
You gave us joy , and sometimes tears but it felt you belonged.
Though you're gone from us now but where ever your spirit may roam,
You'll always head back to Shiloh for it's where you felt at home.
You live in reruns and in our memories,
We thank you for giving us so many of these.
Though you did so many other parts,
This is the role that will always stand out in our hearts.
I can close my eyes and still see you riding the range,
And that's how I'll always see you and that will never change.
With a smile and a wave you're off again.
Across the Shiloh range Trampas rides again.
