Ride the Wind

Ride the wind ...
Wherever she blows

Whispering wildly
Roaring restfully

Tousling hair
Caressing skin

Tinkling chimes
Rattling panes

Killing candlelight
Birthing flames

Bringing a storm
Leaving a rainbow

Ripping out roots
Pollinating fields

Just ride the wind ...
Wherever she blows

Drifting leaves
Tossing over iron

Scattering debris
Clearing garbage

Tumbling bricks
Sculpting canyons

Carrying falcons
Ruffling feathers

Cresting the waves
Pushing the sails

Building the dunes
Toppling mountains

Ride the wind ...
Wherever she blows

What a ride, Kelly. I really like your couplets highlighting both the positve and negative aspects of a ride on the wind. Very creative and unique.
