river flows in slow strides, kissing the rocky shores, to unknown lands, in great wonder. fetters that bind are broken asunder. its heart is deluged with a song waves lap merry along. songs fill the air. river

Yes, it does have its own rhythm and song. I love to go to the river and enjoy the sights and sounds of the water. The one here probably is stained and out of its banks after all the rain that has been coming. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Sara K

Dear Valsa, Such a soothing flow of words—like the river itself, full of quiet freedom and song. Good luck in the contest...Hugs
