Rhyme To Myself

This poem is; an open-ended rhyme to myself;
In an emergency; break the glass, to save thine self
I've seen more than anyone should have to; but my eyes have more to give
They can't take; what you can will through, if you believe in the need to live
I'll be there for you; caring and true, my promises are walls; no sieve,
My devotion; not all that I give to you; defeat, I will outlive

I too like you, believe that life is precious. There have been times when I didn't care. Anything could have happened. I must concider that things may not always be good. But because of this site and writing my feelings, it may just get me through the futch. Good luck to us A.S. ;D

I for one am truly glad you're still here! True friendship is a gift not to be taken lightly! It comes in forms not necessarily ever physically met. But met in spirit and through the artist of connections it draws upon a canvas not necessarily brushed by simultaneous hands. It is certainly therapeutic in more ways than one. A little known fact about me is most of the reason that I started to write was at the suggestion of a therapist. Many many years ago. It took someone completely misunderstanding me to bring it back out of me. Cordially A.S.
