Rhyme Time

I awoke at seven as that is my habit Looked out the window - saw a fat rabbit Reached out in vain attempt to grab it But it was too quick for me to nab it So we broke fast with a bowl of oats Blueberries in chocolate coats Floating atop banana slice boats A nourishing breakfast for crusty old goats Thus did the day fade off on a skew Plenty of time with nothing to do Locked in the house - just me and you Quality time by the fireplace flue Dreaming of pushing a full shopping cart Through the empty aisles of a full shopping mart Wondering when did this lunacy start This sitting together - six feet apart 4/13/2020

Hello John … it certainly does make me wonder how long this will last and how much sanity has been destroyed. The isolation appears to be working in Aus, but I'm saddened to read the US stats - stay safe John - Lindsay
