Returning To Religion

Chanting evaporates into blissful whispers
On this fruitful Sunday dawn
The father, son and holy ghost,
Are present for this celebration.

Candles flicker with devoted prayers
While pews fill with the dedicated
Faith in one’s heart is vivid today,
On the resting day of the lord.

Here is where I have found myself-
A non-believer for years upon years,
Here is where I have found myself-
To revive the faith within my heart.
