Returning Home
Of all His wondrous stories told the Prodigal would be right there
In having such a comforting hold as to our own sins that we bare
Asking for what was not his to ask to live how he thought best
His depravity he could not mask not needing to go into the rest
Upon the Prodigals sons return there all along the Father stood
Such love he knew he didn't earn a loving Father who is so good
Running to meet His son having His best robe for him to wear
To see such a great King run must make all very much aware
It was the Lord telling this story, His own Father has also done
The Father loving us in all His Glory in so sending His only Son
There waiting for you to come back looking out over the hills
For despite all that you may lack it is what the Father Wills
They went and had a feast not even the son could ever imagine
Deserving of it not in the least as He instantly forgot of his sin
Why would Jesus say it to be so this love that you can just feel
In not knowing this Love to be, it's like with the pigs you kneel
Luke 15:11-32
