Rest In Peace
REST IN PEACE
In silence of surrendered feet,
March imaginations of mountain peaks.
Ash upon the inclined ground moves aside.
Tribe kicking leaves— a multicolored tide.
Sticks and stones immaterial— their throne
And ticker thrives with our heartbeats. We move
Less our tongues— echoes of Hallelujah
Sung by soul who lives in eternity.
His choice from unrelenting pain - his words
nearly silent in our brains.
He’s there…I’m sure…he leaves signs everywhere.
