Another bout with danger Staking this new wager Creating a lust for greed Trying to fulfill a need Always left to hunger Not getting any younger Trekking down this path Of a tiring vengeful wrath Spending what I gain Fighting to abstain Actions without thought Fearless of being caught Chanting words of strife No purpose left in life Exhausted with despair A ruthless mental lair Anxious to break free Disappointment sets in me Crying to be sane Picking at this brain Secrets never told Eventually will unfold Placing blame on others As the lies begin to smother Taking my last breath Finally I can rest
