Rescue, From the Weepingly Blue

Rescue, From The Weepingly Blue weepingly blue ... yet thirsting for life treasured days, measured by fleeting time beckonings of truth, sorrows left behind searching through life's winding maze rising from shadows and vanishing heart distant fire a shimmering horizon gasp, gasping, pleading, and grasping ... for life for serenity a cloak to cover world's dripping webs of darkness closer comes light and hope more born of prayer waking to find distant fire at my feet blessed warmth of hope's promise new dawn glow ... morning birds chirping beauty stirs an eager mind to see salvation and life defeating dark terrors of the weepingly blue. Thank you my friend. I was in the mood to write and decided to compose new poems to submit. That free verse poem came splashing forth in a smooth flow and I thought -what a gift... God bless....

My dear friend, indeed when we need rescue from the black abyss our thirst for life allows us to drink from the fountain of light and hope, soothing our parched heart and reviving our spirit. Your poem is rich with emotions that are so poignantly, beautifully and tenderly expressed. My thoughts are with you and your family, Robert. Warmest wishes always, my inspiring friend.. ~Susan
