requiem to my hero

REQUIEM TO MY HERO

 the
  last leaves
 of the
 long-lived oak
    sway
        gently
       to
 the
          ground
 twilight casts
 its final shadow
 memories, now golden
 root deep in my heart
 lessons
 slowly learned, shine
 brightly
 in
 the
 mirror

Jim, you are a unique man, thanks for your poems, they peel the skin off your emotions so graciously to secure our empathy, and thus proves your talent. Good write, and prayers through all, my friend. Thanks for your inspiration, Love and peace.
