Rent a Poetry Man

Here ye! Here ye! Here ye!
Starting a new business I am
“Rent A Poetry Man” I call it
I'll come to your house in a van

For a nominal fee of just a dollar
I will fashion a poem for you
To suit any happy occasion
So you'll remember the do

I will offer a cute little ditty
Even give it a tune if I must
But I expect as part of the deal
You will offer me cake I trust

So look me up, let's make a deal
I'm in the book under “P”
It stands for happy “Poetry Man”
It describes this bloke to a “T”

This is cute, Jack. I once thought of this for REAL and how neat it would be to have a business where you could spend your whole life writing poems for folks. That would be one job that would be a lot more play than work, don't you think?

Shush! If Dragon hears you... He'll give you no peace. He wants all the attention he can get. It's a Dragon thing. And whatever you do don't accept a ride as payment! He does whoop T Doos, and flys upside down! I told him your name Poetry Man is your new secret Super Hero name. He went and got a pen and paper so he can learn to be just like you! Who knows... It might keep him out of trouble for a while... No! Dragon! you can't paint the Sheriff of CrazyLand as a villian, without his permission!

Oh Jack this is such a wonderful poem! Love love it, my friend;) You made my day tonight with this one. And by the way Jack you can come to my house with your van even if I don't need your services at the moment. My muse is okay for now and I don't want to upset her by making her feel less than useful... Just kidding with you now...we can compare notes at least for now okay. I will call you right now!!! Wish you could come visit, Jack. I'm kind of lonely...Hubby and daughter are off on a holiday and I'm stuck here because I have to teach. :( I sure could use a visit!!! Poems....music...I'll make pie!
