Excellent. Boy, am I laughing... And to think, at age 19, I wrote a review of "War and Peace" (the book) that was published in a small literary magazine, long defunct, in New England. ~ Lev Toy Story

If you have never seen Grease, know this. My attention span is slim to none. I can barely get through a three minute TV commercial, yet I see Grease at least once a year. It is that much fun! War and Peace. No way. I am so with you on that one. Great job my friend!

Well done! Always preferred the piece to war, but my daughter loved Grease - although not as much as Flashdance! Aloha! Rico

Both films you mention take me back in time, Jan. Grease is more lively and would certainly keep one awake! War and Peace has come out on top, though, since it inspired this pleasant witty Limerick. Hugs // paul

I read only half of War and Peace, Jan. Never saw the film either. To think of writing a novel of that length, and by hand, boggles my mind! Much of the book was dictated to his wife, however. As for Charles, he may eventually become king but fulfill Andy Warhol's 15 minutes (or months) of fame! Thanks for stopping by./ M

Grease - almost every woman I have known around my age, loves that movie. Same goes for Ghost and Dirty Dancing.

This made me laugh Jan. I tried to read the book and got lost part way through and never finished it. I would rather watch it in movie version. I loved Grease. I am watching an oldie tonight “A Streetcar Named Desire. Thanks for the humor. Blessings xxoo

lol...I love it... and rather than snore if a movie doesn't catch my attention then I walk away so it can't bore me to sleep... made me think of a friend though, he said he rented a movie with his wife and son, they picked the movie, he snapped a pic, said son lasted 15 min, wife 30, so now I am stuck watching the rest myself... enjoyed this one Jan :) hugs
