"He fills my life with good things." Psalms 103: 5a

When reading this line from Psalms 103 today
My heart is filled with a poignant truth
In so many ways I have neglected to praise
God while in my youth

Once again, I am reminded
Of times throughout my years
I have put God on a shelf
The results were unnecessary tears   

Even in my aging body
My spirit forgets to praise
Oh! How much better it would be
To lift Him up all my days!

Gershon, Oh!! Don't bet the farm or anything else. I do appreciate your sincerity and uplifting compliment of me. It blessed my spirit. Yes, I agree we have to forgive ourselves because God forgave us before we ever did anything unpleasing to Him. As a human being it is hard to do some things ourselves that is easy for God. Don't regret over what you have failed to do. God is forgiving ! If you resolve to praise Him in the remaining years, it is enough. A heartfelt writing Sara !
